Dear Maple Class and Parents
I can't believe it has come to the end of the summer term - where has that time gone? As this is the week we break up for the summer holidays, I will no longer be adding home learning to the website. Even though the year feels like it has been cut short, and it feels like our time together in Maple Class should have been for longer, I have had such a lovely year with all of you and have been so proud of how hard you have worked over the past few months (and year!) Thank you so much parents for taking on board the home learning and for sending me their work via Tapestry. It has been so lovely to see them still progressing from home and seeing all of the lovely things Maple Class have been up to.
It has also been so nice to see you Maple Class over the past few weeks in school. Even though school life has been very different, you have embraced the changes amazingly and adapted so well. I have been very proud of how you have done this! I hope you have a lovely summer break and I will look forward to seeing you when you are all grown up in Year 1. Me and Mrs T will make sure to pop by and wave hello to you from the classroom next door!
I have assigned more books to each of you over on ActiveLearn - Bug Club for you to continue reading over the summer as and when you wish. Another big well done on all of the reading practice you have been doing these past few months, I have really noticed how much you are progressing and that is because of all your practice!
Have a lovely summer and thank you Maple Class for being such a lovely class. You are all stars and I have loved teaching you!
Lots of love from Miss Baulcomb and Mrs T
