Easter Holidays

Hello Maple Class smiley

A huge thank you again for all of the lovely work that has been going up onto Tapestry, I have loved logging in to see what you have been up to and it has been so lovely to see all of you getting so stuck in to the activities that I have been uploading onto the website. We hope you are still continuing to keep well and enjoying that extra time with your families.

Across the school we are going to start creating our own class galleries of the lovely learning that has been happening at home. When you next upload onto Tapestry (and if you are happy to) please could you put your permission to do so in your comments. I will upload a message onto Tapestry too about the photos that have already been taken and if you could comment on my post about whether you give permission to put some of your photos onto the website that'll be lovely! I can then start to put together our class gallery on our Maple class page, it'll be a lovely way to see what everyone is up to!

Mr Dobell I believe has sent an email round to all parents about the Easter holidays. Instead of setting work, we will be uploading arts and crafts activities onto the main page of the website for you to take part in if you wish. Normal home learning activities will be then set again after the Easter break.

I have set up an online reading scheme called Epic! - a website where you can access books to read at home. You should have all been emailed details to sign up, but please do let me know if you have any problems. I am still new to this website and finding my feet, but so far I have found that I can assign books for you to read with your child at home, which I will do so that the book levels are pitched at the correct age yes however please do feel free to have a browse on the website at other books too!

Thanks again for sharing with me all of the lovely things that have been happening at home, I really have loved seeing it all - Mrs T has been keeping up with it too and has also enjoyed looking at all of your lovely learning from home (please log on to Tapestry to see a video of Mrs T and I saying hi!)

I hope you have a lovely Easter, and continue to stay safe and healthy.

Love from Miss Baulcomb heart
