This week we will write the 'Animal Kingdom' section of our safari journal. 

 

Each day we will chose one of the 'Big Five' animals that live in Kenya, Africa to write about.

The 'Big Five' are: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.   

 

 

Today we will start with the lion. 

 

You will need: 

  • a pencil to write with 
  • coloured pencils to draw your lion 
  • some paper or print the booklet I have prepared for you that is attached below (the booklet will cover your learning for the whole week) 
  • lion PowerPoint (below)   

   

Remember to be careful with your handwriting, use capital letters, finger spaces and a full stop.
