Happy Friday Oak Class!
It's the last day of another strange week! I received this message as part of an email from PATINA yesterday - I thought some of you might enjoy the challenge (Alex the picture you sent me the other day would be perfect).
One last point, in the light of covid-19, we are gathering local children's drawings of their favourite people and activities with messages of support for the children of our twin towns who are of course also in lockdown. It would be lovely if you could possibly let your pupils know via your newsletters or blogs and ask them to send pictures to us via parents'/ carers' emails to firstname.lastname@example.org asap please. We need to send them towards the end of next week but will wait if let us know more are coming. Open to children of all ages.
I have also posted the first of the challenges I have been sent by the Safety in Action team. There is a new tab above this on our class page with the challenge and information about it.
Today's maths uses the skills we have be consolidating all week - but this time as part of a code breaking challenge. I think it works!
The English is a story writing task.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
