Good Morning Beech Class
Can you believe it is Friday already? This is your last day before Half Term!
To finish off our work on fractions, decimals and percentages, which has been going on since before we went into lock down, I have posted an assessment for you. You are familiar with the style as we have done them in class, fairly often. I have also posted my answers (I am very proud that I now know how to scan documents in through the photocopier in the staff-room. This week feels like a technological breakthrough for me!) Have a go at all of the questions before you look at the answers. There is a high chance that you might have forgotten some of the questions. That is because you are human. Don't be disheartened. Use the answers to 'unpick' where you went wrong and jog your memory.
We are also finishing our work on life cycles today with a look at birds. I am aware that you are all at different stages of this because of finishing your stories. That is absolutely fine. Go to where you need to be. The first piece of life cycle work was on Tuesday, so head to where you need to be.
Thank you all, and your parents, for the amazing effort and commitment you have shown to your work this term. You have earned yourselves a thoroughly relaxing and lovely half term holiday. I look forward to hearing and seeing what you get up to.
Stay safe, well and kind.
