Good Morning Beech Class
Your maths looks different today. If you were in school, this is the time of year when we would be giving you Star Assessments and other tests to see what you can remember. Obviously, we can't do things in the same way, however I thought that it would be useful for you to identify any areas that you might need to work on before we start in Year 6, so I have posted an arithmetic test and a reasoning test, based on work covered this year. This really is for YOU to spot the things that you are confident with and the things that you might give some extra thought to. Follow the instructions and have a go at each question. Start with the arithmetic paper and leave a gap of time between the two. When you have done as much as you can, use the answer sheets and make a note of the areas that you think you need some extra practice in. It would be great if you could bring your answers in, next time you are in school (even if that is September) but it's not compulsory. Email me, if there are any areas, from the arithmetic, paper that you would like some extra practice in.
You do not need to print out the papers; you could work through on the computer and write your answers on paper.
Keep going with your scripts for the animations and the picture books if you have finished.
Have a fantastic weekend - you have worked very hard this week.
