I hope you have all had a good weekend. The sunshine on Friday and Saturday was wonderful and I enjoyed spending time in my garden watching the wildlife. The birds were chirping away, the bees were doing the 'waggle dance' and the insects and spiders I saw were working busily.
This week we will be carrying on with our topic about minibeasts.
English: Will be based around the book Sam's Sandwich. We will use the text to help us write a list of instructions to make a rather different sandwich.
Maths: Is all about number bonds and fact families to 20.
Cooking: There is a simple recipe for Honey Flapjacks. They look rather yummy so I think I'm going to make some too.
Art: Get arty with some bee crafts of why not paint/draw or make a 3d garden full of flowers to support minibeasts and bees visiting your garden.
Project: To make a bird feeder. It's easy to make and I'm sure most of you will have the items needed in your house or garden.
Remember to continue reading daily and play phonics and spelling games.
Have a lovely week everyone xx
