Combing two groups
Yesterday we were learning all about the number zero. Below is a 'counting to 10' song that will help you to get warmed up for our Maths learning today. Can you spot number 'zero the superhero!' flying through the sky in the video?
Today we are going to look at combining two groups together. Below are the resources from the video if you would like to print them off and use them. If you don't have access to a printer, you could make your own flashcards with numbers on by writing the numbers onto pieces of paper and cutting them up. If you are not able to print off the 'part part whole model' ask mums or dads or an older brother or sister to draw one for you by copying the one below. Then you just need some counters (which can be anything from pasta pieces, to small world animals, to Lego pieces or choccy buttons!) Most things work well as counters! Then you are ready to go.
