In class, this week, we are going to plan the story of Cloudbusting and turn it into a narrative. As you haven't heard the end of Cloudbusting, you could choose another poem that tells a story. Two possible suggestions are; The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear or The Pied Piper of Hamelin by Robert Browning.
Use the story mountain, below, to plan the different parts to your story and then write the beginning. Remember to think about engaging your reader and introducing the main characters and settings. Do not rush and get to the main part of the story. We will be using all of this week to write the story.
Email your writing to me when you have finished.
