Sum6.1.1 - Read and interpret line graphs

This is "Sum6.1.1 - Read and interpret line graphs" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

English

We have discovered that the original Winnie the Pooh toys are currently displayed in The New York Public Library. This seems wrong as they belonged to AA Milne's son, Christopher Robin and were the inspiration for the famous stories, set in his childhood home of Ashdown Forest, Sussex.

Your task is to investigate how the toys came to be in America and how the stories originally came about.

In class we have read, Finding Winnie by Lindsey Mattick and Sophie Blackall. If you have the opportunity to read it, please do. It is a fabulous, and true, story.

Geography

Our topic, this term, is Eurovision. To introduce this we are going to find out about the continent of Europe.

Look at the first five slides of the PowerPoint and have a go at identifying the countries on the map of Europe.
