This week we are going to look at instructional writing. This is were we tell someone, step-by-step, how to do something. This might be a recipe or instructions on how to make, or do, something.
Today we are going to look at making a jam sandwich. Can you use the instructions on the PowerPoint to make the sandwich? Then use template to write your instructions for somebody else to follow.
If you don't have any jam maybe you could make a different type of sandwich
Today we are going to look at our number bonds to 10. Remember these are numbers which add together to make 10. For example, 3 and 7. I have included an interactive PowerPoint to practice this skill to start with. Then the first task is to write the number sentences for the pictures. The second task, if you want to try it, is to colour in the rainbow then use it to fill in the number sentences.
I've also included another Minute Maths for the next two days. Can you beat your last score?
Special Family Task
Can you find a jar or pot and write some positive thoughts, feelings or memories from your day?
