Monday

Morning Chestnuts!

I hope you are all well. I am writing this on a grey damp Saturday, hoping probably like you, for a chance to go outside for a lovely walk. Or maybe you are snuggled up reading a lovely book? Either way on Monday we will have a chance to catch up and share our weekend activities. I look forward to that!

So to this this week’s learning: We are going to continue learning our times tables and multiplying and dividing. We are going to have a week of exciting scientific investigations learning about rocks and soils.  We will continue creating some fantastic sentences in English for our story of Erin’s adventures. Plus as always we will work on becoming sensational spellers and handy hand writers.

See you Monday at 11!! Mr Gates

English, Struggling To The Surface

In our sentencing stacking at 11 today, we are going to write descriptive sentences about Erin's watery plight: Erin has been thrown overboard and she is underwater and struggling to reach the surface. If you cannot join us in our teams lesson today, you can write three descriptive sentences about Erin's life threatening situation.
