Happy Monday! I hope all you Chestnuts are well. I hope you have had lovely weekends and have managed to get out for some lovely fresh air and some exercise.
I wanted to just remind you all that the work posted on here is to help you to learn at home. Please do not think you have to complete it all. Do what is right for you. But aim to do your best on the tasks you do. Make sure you are getting some much valued exercise and fresh air. That you are doing fun tasks and having good days, spending time on your both learning and wellbeing.
Best Wishes Mr Gates
As you are aware the pens have boycotted Chestnut classroom and are refusing to comeback until we treat them better.
Over the next two weeks we are going to learn and write a persuasive letter to beg them to return. How can we finish colouring our Andrewsaruas without them? And what about the lovely colourful Tropical undersea World we were creating? Grey pencil is just dull, dull, dull.
Today we are going to collect words to say sorry. We are going to find words that explain how upset we are that they have left. We are going to tell the pens what they mean to us.
