Good Morning Oak Class

Today, we are starting a new unit in Maths; Algebra. A bit like fractions or percentages, this is a word that often strikes fear into the hearts of grown-ups. However, just like with the other two, if you take your time and go steady, it can actually be a lot of fun and very satisfying. It has a lot to do with patterns and rules and is a method of problem solving.

In English, we will be finishing our Charles Darwin biographies and then choosing someone who interests us to write about in our independent task, to finish this writing unit. There will be plenty of time to finish off your writing this week.

See you in Teams at 11.30. We will share some biography ideas and think about this week's spelling pattern. I know that some of you took part in The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch, over the weekend. It would be great if anyone is willing to talk about it and share anything with the rest of us.
