Thursday - World Book Day

Bring a favourite book with you to talk about.

We will be having a World Book Day quiz smiley

Today is World Book Day 😊

To mark this wonderful occasion, all of your learning will be connected to the wonderful fairytale, The Three Billy Goats Gruff. On this page you will find a range of wonderful activities that you can do.

For example:

  • building a new bridge for the goats to cross
  • making story stones to retell the story
  • masks
  • creating a story map
  • building a new home for the troll
  • finding out facts about goats 

 

The list is endless. On the grid below you will find a range of wonderful activities to choose from.

 

Additionally, there are lots of Twinkl activities that you could chose from too. You can choose to print the activities or open the documents, see what they are and use the resources around your home to make them. 

 

I have added a digital version of the £1 book token that can be redeemed for a book at participating book sellers. Details of how to find book sellers can be found on the token.
