Our hatched Velociraptor!

Can you believe our dinosaur egg has hatched Maple Class? surprise Here are some photos of Velociraptor exploring the school grounds! If you would like to view our two exclusive videos of the dinosaur roaming around the school, pop along to our Maple Class Gallery to have a look. You will find it under 'Maple Class' - 'Term 3 Home Learning' - 'Gallery.'
Velociraptor enjoyed roaming around the school playground and the field. He soon got the hang of playing football and even scored a goal! laughyes
He also enjoyed exploring our outside area. He particularly enjoyed practising the 'hula hoop' and making things in our mud kitchen. smiley
Velociraptor was particularly good at sitting beautifully on the carpet. This is quite a tricky task for dinosaurs as they have such big legs, but he sat beautifully. He also got the hang of our hand washing routines too!
It certainly took us all by surprise! surprise Velociraptor was surprisingly very friendly though - not as scary as we thought! laugh
He even helped us out in the office too, answering the phones. All of this fun was very tiring for a baby dinosaur. It's size is deceiving.. it has grown quickly but is still very young. At the end of his exploring, Velociraptor enjoyed a nice lay down on the bench outside - a well deserved rest! smiley
