Letter sound 'ee'
Today in my lesson we looked again at the new sound we have been learning 'ee.' We then had a go at writing some words that had the 'ee' sound in. Below are more pictures of things that have the 'ee' sound in. Can you write the word to match these pictures? I have also included the link to the Alphablocks episode of 'ee' for you to watch too.
If you would like an extra challenge, maybe you could write a sentence about one of these things, practising your finger spaces, capital letters and full stops.
Don't forget to also practise spelling our new tricky word 'you' today. Remember you could do this in many ways (ie. playdough, pebbles, writing into sand, etc). Can you spot our new tricky word in any books you have at home? Maybe you could go on a 'tricky word hunt' in your storybooks at home and see how many different tricky words you can find, including 'you.'
Don't forget to remind yourselves of the Phase 2 sounds we have learnt too! Pop along to Phonics Play and play 'Flashcards Speed Trial' game to see how quick you can say the sounds. Ask mum's and dad's to click on 'revise Phase 2' before playing.
