Letter sound 'oa'

Today we have been learning another new sound, the 'oa' sound. This sound is a 'diagraph' as it has two letters together that makes one sound. In my video today Geraldine went on a hunt around school to find things that featured the sound 'oa.' Can you find anything around your home? Can you write what you find? Don't forget to practise writing our new sound today as well as our new tricky word 'all.' Remember you can do this in lots of different ways! smiley Scroll below to find the videos for today to support your Phonics learning. yes

Can you practise the Phase 2 sounds we have been learning by playing the 'speed trial' game. I wonder how quick you can say the sounds this time? laugh
Here is our new tricky word this week 'all.' Can you practise writing our new tricky word in different ways across the week? Can you think of sentences that feature our new tricky word and say them out loud? Can you spot this new tricky word in any books that you have been reading? smiley
