Good Morning Everyone.
I hope you are all well, cheerful and ready for another day of good work.
Today, we are going to have our Teams meeting at 11.30 am. We have chosen this time so that we can introduce our new topic in order for you to start the task, this afternoon. We have a very late lunch here, now, and our afternoon doesn't start until 2.00 pm! I thought you would rather begin your afternoon at a more civilised time! We will also be doing a spelling dictation, seeing how well you remember a spelling pattern from Year 5, so make sure that you have a pen and paper at the ready. I will also be asking for some volunteers to share their French work from yesterday. Please don't be shy. It doesn't need to be very long; one or two sentences about your family will be more than enough and it is so good to practise out loud and try to understand each other.
I have set up the gallery at the top of our home page and I have dropped Joe's French paragraph in there. Do have a look and use it to help you come up with possible ideas. It will be interesting to show yourself how much of Joe's French writing you can understand.
I have also added a new file on our week, called Mini-Topic. We are going to give you an independent task, every two weeks, which you can work on whenever you have spare time. We will talk about it more in the Teams meeting.
One final thing, today - we have left a box of books in the entrance to school. If you would like to collect a Maths or English book for you to do your work in during lock-down, please ask one of your grown-ups to pop in, at any time during the school day, and collect them.
Speak to you all at 11.30 am
PS.....my running isn't going very well! I am not too keen on running in the dark when I get home and so far I have failed to get up early enough to go before school. Must try harder!
