Good morning Beech class, 

I hope you are all feeling okay. Below I have uploaded some learning for you to complete at home today. As it is Tuesday we would ordinarily have PE this afternoon. Instead, I would also like you to take some time today to read one of your favourite books and write a recommendation for this. We can share these with the class when you return and display them in the book corner.

Maths

In maths today we will be learning about square numbers. The video link and worksheet are below. If you have any counters (or something similar) have a go at making arrays with the different numbers to understand why we call a sqaure number this.

We will be continuing with our new unit on A Christmas Carol today. We will be beginning to understand the characer of Scrooge from the extract we read yesterday. Please follow the tasks on the word document. Both recources you need are also below. If you do not have a printer for the character profile, please complete it on lined paper using the subheadings from the document provided.
