After School Club Leader

We are looking to appoint a leader for after school club.

The club will run Monday to Thursday per week, in term time from 3pm until 5.30pm.

We are looking for someone:

* who is able to enthuse, inspire and safeguard children

* who is cheerful and reliable

* who can organise and deliver activities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 in our After School Club.

The role entails:

* welcoming and registering the children

* implementing activities and games inside and outside

* providing the children with simple refreshments

* maintaining the resources

First aid and other training will be provided, as required. 

 

No experience is necessary for this role, only a willingness to interact with our

children.

Individual Needs Assistant

Iford and Kingston C of E School is looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to join our welcoming and friendly village school at Kingston.  We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working environment.

The hours of work are 9.00am until 12.00 noon.

The successful candidate will liaise with class teachers, support assistants and outside agencies to support the child, promote well-being and improve attendance and attainment.  We will provide you with any relevant training needs.

Caretaker

We are looking for a resourceful caretaker to join our welcoming and friendly school at Iford and Kingston.

The school building is well laid out and has fantastic grounds.

The role of a caretaker is fundamental to our school and they are an important member of our team.  We are very sorry to see our caretaker/cleaner leave us after working with us for a number of years. 

The work would be carried out in the morning.  The contract is for 52 weeks a year less paid holiday.  The role is for 18 hours a week.  We are also appointing cleaners.  The responsibilities would include:

- Maintaining clean, safe and secure school premises, which includes buildings and grounds.

- Carrying out handy-person activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment and minor repairs.

- Maintain the general school premises, furniture and fittings and reporting any issues.

- Maintain the security of the school premises as the main key holder.

- Lock and unlock the premises as required.

- Carry out regular checks of premises equipment.

- Carry out and record health and safety checks.

 

We would love to welcome you to our school. All training and guidance will be provided for the successful candidate, including from the current caretaker so previous experience is not essential.

This is a role with an East Sussex permanent contract which includes holiday pay and a pension.

Cleaner

We are looking for two cleaners to join our welcoming and friendly school at Iford

and Kingston. Iford and Kingston is a village primary school that is quite modern.

The role of a cleaner is crucial to our school and they are an important member of

our team. We are very sorry to see our caretaker/cleaner leave us after working with

us for a number of years.

The work could be carried out in the morning or the evening. The contract is for

term time and some holiday deep cleaning. Each contract is for 17 hours a week.

provided for the successful candidate.

This is a role with an East Sussex permanent contract which includes holiday pay

and a pension.

Forest School Leader

Iford and Kingston C of E School are looking for a motivated Forest School Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for you to share your commitment for creative outdoor learning with our pupils.  We are looking for someone who is passionate, energetic and a good communicator.  We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working and play environment.

 

The hours are 6 hours a week in term time to be worked on one day a week. The hours paid includes time for preparation work. The full-time annual salary is £21,968 and this role would be paid pro rata.
