Today, I will focus on subtracting when zero is a digit.

Today is the day for you to publish your story.

So remember to write a date and title and underline them. Then write or type your story in your best handwriting or typing.

  • Double check that your spelling and punctuation are correct as you write. You would have checked this yesterday, but worth making doubly sure.
  • You can of course at this point make changes, If you think your story needs it.
  • Once you have completed your published story you can add a picture to illustrate it. Perhaps you would like to draw the School or friend you made in your story. You could, with help, research images of Tibet to give you some ideas. For example colourful pray flags are often displayed in Tibetan culture, maybe you could create a border round your writing of these.

"A Tibetan prayer flag is a colourful rectangular cloth, often found strung along trails and peaks high in the Himalayas.             They are used to bless the surrounding countryside and for other purposes." Wikipedia.

Below are our spellings for the week. I have attached the spelling menu you have been using. So you can use one of these, to help you learn the words.

automatic, autograph, superman, superstar, autopilot, autonomy, superior, autobiography, autofocus, supernatural, superficial

Flat Stanley, Chapter 4

Some questions for you to think about while reading chapter 4. Write down your answers in full sentences, after your thinking.

  • Why does Stanley want to be normal again?
  • What does Arthur find in the toy box?
  • Why do Stanley's pyjama buttons start to fly off?
