So today we are going to write our Lighthouse Keeper's stories, very exciting smiley You should have a story mountain and story map to help you remember what you want to write about, in which order.

Things to think about:

  • All the Lighthouse Keeper's Stories start in the same way so it would be good if yours did too.
  • You can listen back to some of the stories I've put on the website to get ideas.
  • Try to use lots of adjectives to describe, that will paint a good picture in your readers head.
  • Remember we learnt about conjunctions (joining words), these would be good to use. But remember just one per sentence.
  • And I'm sure I don't need to remind you of this but... capital letters and full stops please!

This is quite a big task to do so it might take you a couple of days. You might want to split it in to three sections, so today write the beginning, tomorrow write the middle, then Friday write the end. Or you might want to write it all today! It's up to you. I can't wait to read them smileyyes

Today we are going to try multiplication! To help you answer some of the questions it says 'using counters'. What can you find from around your house to use as counters? Maybe toy cars or other small toys? Pasta always works well smiley Remember watch the video, have a go at the worksheet and no peeking at the answers until you're finished laughyes
