Good Morning Oak Class

I hope you are all feeling well and cheerful.

Here are today's tasks. Remember, as well that you have activities on the homework grid to complete.

In English, today, we are continuing with our Cloudbusting narrative. You are going to continue with the narrative that you are writing. In class, we need more time to continue with our build-up so if that is the same for you, please keep going.

Once you have completed the build-up, leave it alone for a little while and then go back and read it through. In class, we have been trying to identify a short piece of our text to highlight and then triple and try. This means choosing a sentence/phrase or clause that doesn't quite sound right and trying to re-write it in three different ways. You could vary the vocabulary or try writing the text in a different order. 'Listen' to how the different ways sound and choose the one that you think best fits into your text.

If you have finished revising your build-up, you can start to write your climax. Remember this is the most exciting part of the story so choose your sentences and your vocabulary carefully.
