Week 7 - 13th July

Hello my lovely Elm Class and parents ๐Ÿ™‚.

I hope you all had a great weekend.

I cannot believe that this is the last week I will be putting home learning on the website. Where has the time gone? It feels strange, as I don't feel like I have had you long enough in my class. At the same time though, we have done lots of wonderful things that I will remember with a big smile on my face ๐Ÿ˜.

Do you remember trapping Evil Pea with the help of Stacey Sweetcorn?  How about the wonderful trip to the Science Centre as part of our space topic? Oh, what about Sunny the Meerkat and Jimmy the Giant arriving in our class! I'll also remember the fabulous good work assembly we did all about Africa. The way you learnt your lines, performed and danced made Mrs Commin, Mrs Snelling and I so proud ๐Ÿ˜˜. Oh, remember when the time capsule landed in the sensory garden and the beanstalk that just kept on growing in our class! Oh, remember the Cinderella dress up day (I was the clock) and the PDSA visit when we got to use real vets medical equipment! I have so many fun filled memories of our time together. What was yours? I'd love to know.

It has been wonderful seeing some of you back in school for the phased return and on transition day. If you didn't come back to school then I will make sure that I pop in and see you in Willow Class in September.

I have had such a fun time with you all and I am so proud of each and everyone of you! You are all little stars - continue to sparkle and shine bright as you move on into Year 2.

Lots of love and virtual hugs

Mrs Duke ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿค—
