Week 7

Dear Maple Class and Parents

This week I thought we could look at the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar.' I love this story as I'm sure many of you do too! I unfortunately couldn't find a PDF version of the story this week, but I have attached a video version of the story below if you do not have the story at home already.

As always please do feel you can carry on with past stories if you wish and please do remember that this is not a checklist, pick and choose the activities as you wish, however if you are at all able to do the daily Phonics and Maths activities when you can that would be great! I do understand however the pressures of working from home and home-schooling must be tough at times. Thanks again for all of the lovely work being uploaded to Tapestry, the activities happening at home are great! smiley

I would also like to say a big well done to everyone who has been reading on Epic! We have just received what they have called on Epic as 'The Readerpillar Badge' (which fits in perfectly this week with our 'Hungry Caterpillar' theme!) This badge is for reading 200 books, well done Maple Class!! That is amazing! laughyes

I apologise that I did not upload my next story onto Tapestry last week, my week at school last week flew past! I will upload another story onto Tapestry this week so keep an eye on Tapestry over the next coming week.

Have a lovely week with 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar.' Or one of the other stories if you wish to stick with one of those.

Love Miss Baulcomb heart
