What do you notice about the words? Focus on the '-y' becoming '-ies'. Can you think of any other words that would fit this pattern?
Potential activities:
Hidden Words: Draw and colour a picture. Then hide your spelling words inside your picture. Show your picture to someone and see if they can find the words.
Backwards Words: First write your spelling words forwards, then see if you can write them backwards underneath! E.g. where - erehw
Project
This weeks project is to find out about the RNLI. What does it stand for? What do they do?
You could create a colourful poster to show what you have found out, or maybe create a presentation to teach the rest of your household? I can't wait to hear all of the things you have discovered.
