Skylark Federation are looking for a Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Assistant to join our welcoming and friendly village school at Iford and Kingston. We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working environment.
The hours of work are 8.30am until 12.00 noon as a teaching assistant and 12.00 noon until 1.00pm as a lunchtime assistant.
The successful candidate will support learning and contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, working alongside the teachers. The successful candidate will be expected to advance pupils learning in a range of ways, including working with individuals and small groups. We will provide you with any relevant training needs.
We are a popular group of schools and we would love to welcome you to our Federation. We are in a lovely setting but an easy commute from Lewes and other areas.

The rate of pay for the lunchtime assistant position is £22.366 and for the teaching assistant position is £22,737, both of which will be paid pro-rata.
