We are seeking a passionate and creative Early Years/Year 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration and a commitment to helping every child thrive and achieve their best.
Role Overview:
As the teacher of our mixed Reception (EYFS) and Year 1 class, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundations for learning, curiosity and confidence in our youngest pupils. You will create a stimulating and safe classroom environment where children feel valued, confident and eager to learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, sharing feedback with families to support learning at home.
- Foster positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development through care and effective communication.
This is a full-time position to start either after February half term or Easter 2026.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching Early Years and/or Year 1.
- A passion for teaching and working with young children and helping them thrive
- Experience in teaching Early Years and/or Year 1.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A creative approach to teaching and learning, with a focus on active and hands-on experiences.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom culture.
